2day, which is a friday nite, i went to HGC for their prayer meeting.. this is bcoz i promise ps ryan they all that i will visit them, and dats like one year ago.. so yea, finally found sometime off and went there wif Jane aka Yuk Jing.. so we went there.. heard some loud music, and we are sure we reach the correct place, open that door... saw Chris was worship leading wif acoustic, Audrey on keyboard and Aaron on drums.. i was like.. a 3 piece band.. cool.. and i can say they are like professional.. the music sounded like there is bass.. and the worship was AWESOME.. really felt God presence there.. is like something that i have been missing so long.. is the longingness that im missing out all these while.. at that moment.. i was really focusing on God.. and how he made me glad, he gave me everything, it was really a cool experience.. i somehow really miss those time in CC where the "old" ppl are there..
Actually.. i really like HGC alot.. it is bcoz i can say i grow under the guidance of Ps ryan.. he really taught me alot of principles that i really hold on till today.. of coz some i din la.. but most of it i do.. how to live like a christian.. about prayer.. attitude.. these are the things i still hold on to.. and Calvin Tay.. my mentor i can say.. taught me what is worship.. how to worship.. what is the real meaning of worship practice.. Ern Suey, a fren that i admire most of her passion for God.. working in the worship team wif her is really fun.. she and Calvin Tay really showed me by example on what worship is like.. Audrey, Carol.. although they have soft voices, but when they pray.. is like roaring.. but this teach me one thing.. dun be ashame of praying.. be passionate.. Aaron kee, a person wif talents.. he taught me how to play properly in a team.. and of coz Brenda.. also passionate for God.. these are the ppl that really show me an example on how to be a person passionate for God..
to tell the truth, i really wanted to shift to HGC as i felt i will be more useful there than in my church actually.. but i realise my calling is still back in SWCC.. due to some reason i cant say here but is definitely not bcoz of "her".. i really want to build up my worship team.. as i was thinking.. ps ryan told me this.. "pray for ur team" yes.. if i dun pray, or everyone dun pray, our worship team is going to be dead for sure.. we need God's help.. and the other thing is that "have fun".. worship is not dead serious.. is suppose to enjoy the presence of God.. we shud not be so called stress out.. these 2 things struck me most..
after praying in small groups.. ps ryan gave a message.. he toks about what Jesus's reply when He was tempted by mr SA tan.. the 1st reply.. "men shall not eat by bread alone but by everything that comes from God".. this verse is quoted from Deuteronomy when the ppl of Israel was in the deserts bcoz they forget about God.. so He began to humble them, made them hungry, then feed them wif manna which is from God.. This is so that they are reminded that "everything comes from the Lord".. the 2nd reply is "do not test the Lord your God".. This means that we shud not test God grace and passion.. although he loves us so much, but must not forget that God is still a Holy and Just God.. therefore, if we keep on testing His patience, He will make sure we go back to the place where we started.. and start to humble us again.. the 3rd reply is "Away from me Satan, for it is written, Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him onli".. This means that everything that we do, we shud not be self-seeking, but must give God the glory.. one cool thing is when u read these replies.. it start wif God, and ends wif God.. Therefore.. as we progress on in our lives, we will start wif God teaching us, disciples us, and making us the person we are.. and along the way, temptation may come, so we shud not test the Lord's patience.. and lastly, when we got the final results, all glory must give back to God.. really.. it really struck me.. i was like.. WOW!!!!.. thats why i really enjoy His message.. coz he speaks right to the point..
I really Thank God for giving me a support group from HGC.. really.. they really blesses me alot..
This is my prayer for them..
"God, thank You for letting me know the ppl from HGC.. as they continue to grow in U, may U bless them wif everything that they need.. Financial needs, or any other needs.. may they grow strongly in U, may there not be any distraction, arguments, disunity in their church.. may U keep them strong and healthy as they travel around to preach Ur word.. Father Lord, Bless them Lord... In Jesus's Name, Amen"
